Integrating BookWidgets with ClassLink simplifies teaching by providing educators with quick, secure access to their tools through single sign-on (SSO). By connecting BookWidgets to ClassLink, teachers can reduce time spent managing logins and dive straight into creating interactive lessons and assessing student understanding. How do teachers add BookWidgets to their ClassLink LaunchPad?

Adding apps like BookWidgets to your ClassLink LaunchPad is straightforward. However, if you cannot integrate BookWidgets with ClassLink on your own, you may need your district IT administrator to complete the process. Both options for connecting your BookWidgets account to ClassLink are outlined below.👇

How to add BookWidgets as a Teacher to your own ClassLink LaunchPad

1. Open your Classlink LaunchPad, and search for BookWidgets.

2. Click the “Add” button.

3. You will see a confirmation message that BookWidgets has been added to your LaunchPad.

4. Now, when you navigate to your LaunchPad, you will see BookWidgets listed.

5. Click and log in to your existing BookWidgets account and create, share, or review your widget activities. If you are a new user, you will need to create an account. How to add BookWidgets as an IT Admin to Teachers’ ClassLink LaunchPads

1. In your ClassLink LaunchPad, click on ClassLink Management Console.

2. In the side panel of the console, click on Applications and “Add & Assign Apps”.

3. Next, click on “App Library”.

4. Search for BookWidgets, then click the “Add” button. You will see a blue check mark confirming that you have added BookWidgets

5. Next, click on “Assign” to acess the list of profiles.

6. Click on “Add” to assign BookWidgets to specific profiles. You may then click on “Remove” to remove BookWidgets, if needed.

Keep in mind that students do not log into BookWidgets: the teachers create the activities in BookWidgets and share them with their students via a link, QR code, or learning management system integration. Student responses are then housed within the teacher’s account. Only teachers will need to access BookWidgets through their ClassLink LaunchPad.

7. Teachers will now automatically see BookWidgets in their ClassLink LaunchPad. Teachers can now click the icon to log in or create a BookWidgets account, where they can create, share, and review digital learning activities.
